Next Theatre brings together a collection of your neighbors to examine faith and its place in our community. What is the role of faith in public life? How do our beliefs unite and divide us? How do faith organizations and secular organizations work together to address the world's challenges? And what is the meaning of "separation of church and state" today? Next Communities participants represent a variety of religious and civic organizations in our area including: Skokie Bahá'í Community · Second Church of Christ, Scientist · Ebenezer AME Church · Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago · Jewel Heart Sangha · Second Baptist Church · Interfaith Housing Center · St. Nicholas Church · Northwestern University · Howard Area Community Center · Faith Church of God in Christ · Northwestern Sheil Center.
